Commodore’s wrap up of 2021-2022 season, 24 April 2022

The final day of the 2021/22 season on Sunday was a celebration – we celebrated making it through a full program albeit shortened by Covid, wet and wild weather at times, and even a tsunami warning!!!
To make the last race day extra special we were joined by a seal frolicking around the Club chasing fish while we all enjoyed a well earned BBQ and refreshments after racing.
The 2021/22 season had some great highlights starting with the inaugural ‘Battle of the Sound’ hosted by MHASC in November. We look forward to next year’s event.
The Australian Laser Masters Championships at Balnarring Beach in Victoria were fantastic and a group of us escaped the horrible Sydney weather in February for balmy Victoria!
The latter part of the Season was also particularly enjoyable as the sun started to make regular appearances again and competition was close.
We look forward to further celebrations with members, partners, guests at Club’s Annual Presentation Night on Friday 27 May where we’ll wrap up what has been a different season.
