Jeff wins European GGM Championships – 16 Oct 2022
Robert LowndesMHASC member Jeff Loosemore has convincingly won the Great Grand Masters (65 to 74yo) Division of the 2022 EURILCA Masters European Championships which concluded last week at L’Escala, Catalonia, Spain.
Jeff added this to his World Championship win in Mexico in June , completing an outstanding year.
Jeff has been a long time member of the club and has contributed greatly to the camaraderie and spirit for which “The Laser Club” is renown. Former club member Peter Heywood also had a great regatta, winning the Legends (75+ yo) Division.
The club caters for all levels of sailor and has recently launched a Learn to Race program for sailors with basic skills to help them improve their enjoyment of the sport.
